Automatic Inventory Update

Currently: It doesn’t appear that the product inventory updates when someone submits a form.
Example: We have a product added to a form with an inventory of 1. When someone selects that product and submits the form the inventory is not updated (it remains at 1). So, the product is still showing as available for others to select. We have to go in and manually edit that product to reduce the inventory to 0.

Ideal Functionality: It would be very helpful if the inventory would automatically update based on the form submission.

Example: You have a form with a product that has an inventory of 1. When someone selects that product and submits the form, the inventory for that product automatically updates and reduces to 0 available. It should also account for cases where they select multiple quantities of the same product.

    It’s Salim from forms.app. Thank you for sharing the request.

    Setting stock is available at the moment. Once you add a product to the Products field and use the edit button to open product settings; follow these steps:

    1. Switch to the Variants tab and enable set stock. Then you can add stock information to products.

    2. Now this is actually the part you are looking for. Once you add stock information, scroll down to find additional settings to decide what happens when stocks run out. You can hide, disable, or continue getting orders.

    Once you set what happens when out of stock, the problem should be solved.
